Where an Animator's Desk Becomes a Cirque du Soleil Stage

A girl inherits her late father's unfinished cartoon, and Cirque du Soleil acrobats act it out at Disney Springs.

Disney calls Drawn to Life the first-ever collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering. The stage is set up as an animator's desk, and the drawings on it come alive. Cirque says this family show plays only in Orlando.

The booking is a show ticket, with taxes and fees included. You pick the seat price level as you book, and children 2 to 12 pay a lower rate than adults at the same level. All sales are final, with no refund for cancellations. On arrival, collect your tickets at the box office with valid photo ID.

Blue Fairies on Unicycles, a Pencil in the Air

Every act takes its cue from Disney animation. Cirque's own photo captions show performers playing the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio in a unicycle act. Disney's show photos add an aerial acrobat holding a pencil near a sketch of Chernabog, and a springboard act that sends performers into the air.

Unicycle fairies come up by name in several traveler reviews from December 2025 to September 2026. One June 2026 review also singled out the juggler.

Julie, Mr. Pencil and an Unfinished Cartoon

A story runs underneath the acrobatics. Julie, a girl Cirque describes as courageous and determined, finds an unexpected gift from her late father: an unfinished animation piece. Guided by a surprising pencil, Mr. Pencil, she sets off on a quest sprinkled with her Disney childhood memories, and by the end she learns to animate the story of her own future.

The scenes between the big acts carry Julie's story, so expect plot as well as stunts.

Picking a Seat Price Level

Seats are sold across numbered price tiers from Level 3 down to Level 9, with lower numbers seated closer to the stage. The seating chart Cirque supplies shows rows fanning around the stage in two tiers, with a few seats marked as partially obstructed.

Because the acrobatics use the theater's full height, higher-numbered tiers farther back are rarely a disadvantage. Several travelers report that there is no bad seat in the house, and reviewers in August and October 2026 noted that sitting farther back actually gives a better view of the full stage. One reviewer who sat close felt she missed parts of the wider scene.

Wednesday to Sunday, Doors About 30 Minutes Out

Disney lists performances Wednesday through Saturday at 5:30 PM and 8:00 PM, and Sunday at 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM. The show runs 90 minutes with no intermission. Around Halloween and the year-end holidays the booking calendar shifts a few times, so choose the time on the date you want. Sales close two hours before showtime, and each booking waits for the operator's confirmation.

Two travelers in April 2026 reported that doors open about 30 minutes before the show. One traveler wrote in February 2026: "Go early as the ushers pick children to go on stage to draw as part of the pre-show."

The theater stands on the West Side of Disney Springs, at 1478 East Buena Vista Drive. Disney offers complimentary standard self-parking at Disney Springs, though travelers report full lots at busy times. Food and drinks are not part of the ticket.

Disney's page says guests may remain in a wheelchair or ECV, and travelers describe stairs and one small elevator inside, so arrive early if you need the lift. Pair the show with dinner along the West Side, before the evening curtain or after the last bow.
