Description

Bequeathed in 1989 by Marjorie Baird and Sidonia Foley to protect the land from development, the preserve honors their parents, Sidonia Furth Wetherill and Colonel Alexander Wetherill. Set between Yarrow Point and Hunts Point, the grounds serve as a serene year-round retreat for a quiet walk, home to bird life including eagles and kingfishers.
