Across 52 plots, neighbors cultivate traditional crops and global foods in this expansive community garden.
Description
Established in 2013 following the covering of the West Seattle Reservoir, the 55,000-square-foot site took shape as part of the Westcrest Park redevelopment in the Highland Park neighborhood. Beyond the cultivation beds, the grounds incorporate a children's play area that extends the space beyond gardening.
