West Mill Creek Park

Set in Gladwyne away from city bustle, the park trades manicured lawn for unpaved terrain with minimal grass underfoot. It doubles as an easy hike without a dog, though waste stations positioned throughout keep the space geared toward canine companions.

The perimeter is open rather than contained: the grounds are not entirely fenced in, and dogs can cross the water directly toward an adjacent road. Letting them roam off leash ultimately demands excellent recall.
