West End Square
4.6 (70)park
A former parking lot turned urban park, outfitted with porch swings, rain gardens, and a shaded 50-foot work table.
Description

Designed by James Corner Field Operations as the only neighborhood park in the West End Historic District, the site is anchored by a shade structure known as the Frame that wraps three sides to transition between the surrounding streets and the garden interior. Along North Record Street, the Porch sets out swings, while the Outdoor Workroom provides charging stations and Wi-Fi at the communal table. The grounds also incorporate a dog park, flexible gathering spaces, and an interactive light-and-sound digital canopy.
