West Athens Victory Garden

In a dense, asphalt-heavy neighborhood, the space functions as both an agricultural hub and a working model for water conservation. Alongside plots for growing fresh produce, the site incorporates practical sustainability features, including a rain catchment system and a bioswale that catches runoff to filter water back into the ground. Families find dedicated room to explore in a learning garden designed for children ages 0 to 5, while a shared gathering area and seasonal tree shade provide space to pause outdoors.
