Wentworth (John) Gardens Park

Spanning 2.53 acres in Armour Square, the grounds operate in conjunction with the Chicago Housing Authority to anchor local neighborhood life. Beyond the courts and pool, outdoor space includes a baseball field and playground, while the community center adds meeting rooms alongside its gym. The schedule leans heavily into youth and family routines, hosting after-school programs through the school year, the Park District's six-week summer day camp, and seasonal holiday events.
