Welles (Gideon) Park

The park spreads across nearly 16 acres at Lincoln and Montrose Avenues, serving as an active community anchor well beyond standard lawn space. On the west side, the gazebo is equipped with electricity to stage outdoor concerts and storytelling. Surrounding grounds support a dedicated fitness center, horseshoe pits, and expansive turf lined for baseball, softball, football, and track and field. Families have access to an ADA-accessible soft-surface playground alongside youth classes ranging from tumbling to tot soccer, while specialized therapeutic recreation programs provide organized activities for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
