Hatch has two speeds, and the weekend one comes with DJ sets. Light bites sit alongside a curated lineup of Black owned spirits at this cozy neighborhood bar in Brooklyn. The room occupies the former BedVyne space at 370 Tompkins Avenue, with an expanded menu joining the drinks.
Karaoke nights give the microphone a turn in the spotlight, too. The neighborhood business itself is Black owned, too. The owner often steps over to check on tables, a personal presence that carries through the evening. Weeknights are quieter, with a low key setting for unwinding over a drink when a louder weekend is not the plan.
Hatch opens on Monday and Wednesday from 4 PM to 10 PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 4 PM to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 2 PM to 2 AM, and Sunday from 2 PM to midnight.
