Description

Spanning 198 acres, the preserve pairs wetland habitat with the associated heights to the east. Al McNabney Marsh forms the core, divided between 69 acres of deeper northern water held by the Mountain View Sanitary District and 46 southern acres under regional park care. In the hills above, hikers have access to several miles of trails, including the Meadowlark Ridge Loop. The setting remains quiet and unhurried, though visitors note that trail conditions after rain require extra attention.
