Water Playground

Run by the Chicago Park District on N Seminary Ave, this site caters to children with dedicated warm-weather amenities. Across the city, while most park water playgrounds are positioned beside outdoor swimming pools, a handful operate as freestanding neighborhood installations. Setups of this kind can feature slides, tire swings, and sprays from all angles. The water systems follow a defined seasonal window, traditionally turned on in late June and turned off in late August.
