Water Gives Life Mural - by Eurhi Jones and David McShane

Created by Eurhi Jones and David McShane, the work reimagines a 1998 mural McShane painted at the exact same site. Grounded in a partnership between the Philadelphia Water Department and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, it draws on that shared history to invite conversations about urban sustainability. Across the composition, the mapped pipe network charts how clean water flows from the Schuylkill to the Delaware, linking the health of the city's rivers directly to its plant life.
