Washington Park, Park Pl entrance
park
A gateway into Portland’s 410-acre park, opening right onto scenic wooded trails and landmark cultural grounds.
Description

Two miles west of downtown, the grounds gather several of Portland's signature destinations, including the Oregon Zoo, Portland Japanese Garden, and Hoyt Arboretum, alongside the World Forestry Center. Here too is the International Rose Test Garden, which has shaped the city's identity since 1917, joined by the Oregon Holocaust Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans of Oregon Memorial.
Recreation across the space includes tennis courts, playgrounds, an archery range, and a restored reservoir site, alongside over 15 miles of hiking trails that connect to Forest Park.
