Washington Park Arboretum
4.8 (8,339)park
A 230-acre living museum on Lake Washington, laced with quiet trails, wetland boardwalks, and the blooms of Azalea Way.
Description

Jointly managed by the University of Washington and the City of Seattle, the grounds cultivate extensive collections of oaks, conifers, maples, and camellias. Much of the seasonal focus centers along the 3/4-mile path of Azalea Way, which blazes with spring color, while the southern end anchors a renowned Japanese Garden.
