Warren (Laurence) Park
4.7 (580)park
An expansive green space with winding trails, a nine-hole golf course, and a lively ice rink when winter rolls in.
Description

Covering nearly 89 acres as the North Region’s largest park, Warren Park offers ample room for seasonal sports and daily neighborhood routines. Paths wind beneath tall trees frequented by cardinals, connecting picnic groves, sports fields, tennis courts, and trails with exercise equipment. Golfers find a dedicated putting practice area beside the Robert A. Black course on the northeast grounds. In freezing weather, activity shifts toward the small sledding hill, ski routes, and the Chicago Blackhawks Ice Rink, complete with a toasty warming house and sideline heat lamps for spectators.
