Description

Originally drawing water from nearby Shadwell Basin to supply hydraulic power across the area, the cavernous Victorian building retains its substantial industrial scale. Its spacious interior regularly transforms for temporary events, hosting pop-up exhibitions and weekend gatherings like the Go East vintage flea market. While the historic complex stands proud but noticeably neglected and in need of structural care, its weathered shell provides a dramatic, unvarnished backdrop for browsing.
