Walter J Nagorski Golf Course

Set in the foothills of Fort Shafter, this public nine-hole layout cuts across uneven ground, with holes two and three tracing the former Putnam Airfield—where the original marker still stands. The round demands precision, shaped by undulating fairways and notably small greens that challenge both novices and seasoned golfers. The course is walkable, but hilly enough to deliver a real workout between shots. Practice greens and a dedicated chipping facility round out the grounds, with open sights reaching out toward downtown Honolulu.
