Walt Hundley Playfield Park
4.4 (339)park
A West Seattle park pairing active pickleball courts and turf fields with tree-shaded grassy slopes for spectators.
Description

Spread across 11 acres, the neighborhood park gathers everyday recreation into a compact athletic hub. It holds four fully fenced pickleball courts alongside tennis, a pocket playground, and two t-ball and softball fields. Ground conditions draw mixed feedback from local players: while the synthetic soccer pitch replaced an older dirt and shredded-rubber surface, some note the turf could still be improved, non-standard field layouts can feel slightly strange, and the baseball diamonds run a little rough.
