Walk Through a Haunted House That Runs Year-Round in Panama City Beach
A twenty-minute walk through built sets at Pier Park, open all year rather than for five weeks in October.
A haunted house is usually a seasonal business. It goes up in late September, runs hard for five weeks, and comes down again. Fear at the Pier calls itself the only year-round haunted house in the area, and its schedule backs that up: entries run every day of the week, from eleven in the morning until seven at night.
It occupies a unit on Starfish Street inside the Pier Park town centre, and the slot you book runs twenty minutes.

Entry is at 15611 Starfish Street, Suite 115, in Panama City Beach. Tickets are timed and delivered to your phone, confirmation is immediate, and booking closes two hours before the slot you pick.
Fear at the Pier Haunted AttractionA twenty-minute walk-through dark attraction at Pier Park, with built sets and special effects. Adult admission from $25.www.viator.comA Walk-Through, Not an Escape Room

Fear at the Pier is run by the same company as Royal Escape Rooms, which puts two of its escape rooms in this same Starfish Street unit, and the marketing language for the two runs together in places. Words like panic room and riddles turn up in copy that is describing the escape rooms, not this ticket. What you are buying here is a walk-through: you follow a route through the built sets, with nothing to solve and no clock running against you.
The booking record puts the slot at twenty minutes, fixed, and the operator's own write-up of the attraction says to plan about ten to fifteen minutes inside. Either way this is a short visit, and it is worth knowing before you plan the evening around it.
Who Is Inside With You

The sets carry most of the work. A corridor runs between walls of moulded skulls and bones with oil lanterns strung along the ceiling. One room is stacked floor to ceiling with carved pumpkins. Another is a nursery of broken dolls and alphabet blocks. Further along there is a standing crowd of clown figures, and a creature in a hazmat suit waiting in an industrial bay.
Live actors are the part to be careful about. The operator advertises them and then adds an asterisk: their presence may vary, and it asks you to call ahead for the schedule. The booking listing runs that same sentence with the words live actors swapped out for monsters. Visitors keep reporting that there were none, year after year, and not one review describes meeting a live actor. Plenty of them still had a good time — the animatronics are convincing enough that people scream anyway — but if a performer coming at you is the reason you are going, call before you book.
Daylight Entries, Every Half Hour
Entries start at eleven in the morning and run until seven in the evening, on the hour and the half hour, seven days a week. Starting at eleven means you can do this in daylight, which is the easier version if you are bringing someone who is not sure they want to go in at all. The attraction is entirely indoors, so it runs rain or shine.
One booking covers up to fifteen people, while the operator's own write-up says groups go in two to eight at a time.
Before You Book
Adult admission starts at $25, and the ticket's age band begins at ten. The operator is stricter than the ticket on its own page for this attraction: it puts the haunted house at twelve and up, and says children under ten may find it way too intense. The paying-adult and signed-waiver rules you will find elsewhere on its site are written for the escape rooms, not for this walk-through.
The listing flags the attraction as unsuitable for pregnant travellers and for anyone with poor cardiovascular health. It also ticks wheelchair accessible, while the operator's own page on this attraction describes narrow paths and stairs and asks guests with mobility concerns to call ahead. Go with the operator's description and call before you book.
Refunds follow the channel you book through: the listing asks for twenty-four hours' notice for a full refund, and the operator's own direct bookings run on forty-eight hours instead.

Twenty minutes is short enough to slot against everything else at Pier Park rather than build a night around. If you have been putting off a haunted house because October is months away, this is the one that is still open.
