Walk Paul Revere's North End, Then Ride Past Bunker Hill
Picked up wherever you are staying in Boston, your group walks the North End for about 90 minutes, then rides past the rest.
This is Boston Sightseeing Tours' four-hour private tour, led in English, and the word private sets the price model. The listing charges per vehicle, not per person, and one vehicle takes up to six travelers. The operator says it never mixes groups.
The day starts wherever you are staying. Pickup is from the Boston location you choose, and the listing's pickup list runs from downtown hotels out to Logan Airport and the cruise port. Roughly 90 minutes of the four hours are on foot in the North End. The rest is seen from the vehicle.
A traveler who took it in March 2026 called it "a well-balanced mix of walking and riding."

You don't pick the start time at checkout. The listing says the operator confirms it after the booking is complete, and confirmation itself is manual, so the booking isn't final until the operator replies.
One rule shapes that time. On weekdays during the school year, the listing says tours can only start after 2:30 PM. The rule names weekdays in the school year and nothing else.
Private 4-Hour Driving & Walking City TourPrivate for up to six, priced per vehicle. Pickup at your Boston address, about 90 minutes on foot in the North End. All sales final.www.viator.comAbout Ninety Minutes on Foot in the North End

The walk covers the North End, which the listing describes as a maze of narrow streets with some of the city's oldest buildings. Two stops go indoors for about 15 minutes each, and both charge their own admission. The Old North Church, founded in 1723, is the one made famous by Paul Revere's ride and the line "One if by land, two if by sea." The Paul Revere House was built around 1680.
In between come Copp's Hill Burying Ground and the stories the operator names: the Spite House, the Brink's robbery and the Great Molasses Flood. The operator also mentions a possible snack at one of the neighborhood's pastry shops. Food isn't among what the booking includes, so whatever you pick at the counter is yours to pay for.
The Riding Half: Charlestown, Beacon Hill, Back Bay, Fenway

Back in the vehicle, the listing's remaining stops are drive-bys. You pass the USS Constitution, launched in 1797 and still the world's oldest commissioned naval vessel afloat, and the Bunker Hill Monument, which the listing marks as a drive-by, so its 294 steps aren't part of the plan. Then TD Garden, Boston Common, the Old State House from 1713, Beacon Hill, Back Bay and Fenway Park.
Cambridge is the stretch to hold loosely. The listing includes Harvard and MIT. The operator's own page for this tour heads over the Charles River to MIT and Harvard "if time permits."
The ship is a working Navy vessel and does go out. The USS Constitution Museum's visit page lists it closed on October 21 and 22 for an underway and a change of command.
What the Two Indoor Stops Cost, and When They Close
The listing marks both indoor stops as admission not included, and the operator calls them optional extras. The current prices on the venues' own pages:
- Old North Church: USD 10 for adults and USD 5 for youth, with children five and under free.
- Paul Revere House: USD 6 for adults, USD 5.50 for seniors and college students, USD 1 for children 5 to 17. It takes cash, cards with a ten-dollar minimum, and PayPal.
Hours matter on a late start. Old North is open Monday to Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The Paul Revere House closes at 4:15 PM from November 1 to April 14, is shut on Mondays in January, February and March, and closes on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. On a weekday school-year tour that starts after 2:30 PM, ask when the time is confirmed whether the walk reaches the house before it closes.
What's Included, and the No-Refund Rule
The booking covers private transportation in an air-conditioned vehicle and bottled water, and the listing notes a child car seat is available. Tips aren't built in. The operator says tipping isn't expected but is appreciated.
This listing is all sales final, with no refund if you cancel. It is also marked as a tour that can be called off for poor weather. The operator's FAQ says its guides go out in all kinds of weather and reserves the right to cancel if conditions are judged unsafe.
On fitness, the listing ticks "suitable for all physical fitness levels" while also describing about 90 minutes of walking. The operator's FAQ says that if someone in your group has mobility issues, it will work with you to keep the city at a comfortable pace.
Pickup is from the Boston address you give, whether that's a hotel, a private home, the airport or the cruise port, and the operator confirms the exact meeting spot before the tour date. Wear shoes you can walk in for an hour and a half.
By the end you will have walked to Paul Revere's front door and ridden past Old Ironsides and Bunker Hill, without driving or parking anywhere yourself.
