Wakamono
4.4 (459)restaurant
A casual Lakeview sushi bar shaped by founder Kai Togami’s decades at sea, serving a globally inspired Japanese menu.
Description

The restaurant is rooted in the backstory of Kai Togami, who was orphaned in 1978 when a tsunami swept his fishing village off the coast of Okinawa into the sea. Following nearly thirty years as an ocean stowaway on the high seas, he settled in the neighborhood, where he continues to live today, owning and captaining the restaurant with dishes drawn directly from his travels across the globe.
