Wahiawā Botanical Garden
4.7 (1,665)park
A 27-acre ravine garden where shaded paths wind beneath towering canopies, a flowing stream, and native Hawaiian trees.
Description

Set between the Wai‘anae and Ko‘olau mountain ranges, the grounds began in 1930 as a plant propagation site for the Hawaiian Sugar Planters' Association before opening to the public under the Honolulu Botanical Gardens. The collection takes advantage of Wahiawā’s cooler, higher-rainfall climate, sustaining dramatic tropical foliage alongside extensive groupings of palms, heliconias, and gingers. It offers a calm, unhurried walk framed by lush greenery.
