Volunteer Park at Arrowhead

Volunteer Park at Arrowhead centers on recreation, featuring a dedicated rink that replaced Hendersonville's older asphalt setup. While the rink is covered, its pavilion structure means windy, misty weather can make one side slick while the other remains skateable, and overhead rafters occasionally prompt skaters to bring a broom.

Beyond the rink, the park provides concessions and ample room between fields to spread out with folding chairs and giant sun umbrellas. The grounds are clean and dog-friendly, though the expansive layout makes it wise to keep small kids close at hand.
