Description
Council Crest Park covers 43 acres in Southwest Portland, rising 1,073 feet above sea level. When visibility clears, the horizon reveals Mount Hood, Mount St. Helens, Mount Adams, Mount Jefferson, and Mount Rainier. A large grassy area at the summit offers open space for picnics and relaxing, drawing people around sunrise and sunset. For exploring, paved and unpaved paths loop around the grounds, alongside a dedicated dog off-leash area.
