Description

Tucked at the western gateway to Downtown Los Angeles, this 10.5-acre park layers streams, picnic grounds, and a nature-themed playground amidst native Mediterranean vegetation into the surrounding neighborhood. An outdoor amphitheater in a grotto hosts environmental education and public gatherings, alongside a FIFA-regulation soccer field shared with the adjacent learning center. On-site interpretive programs led by naturalists also connect visitors to the broader landscape through free “Transit to Trails” bus trips out to the Santa Monica Mountains.
