Villa Finale was the last home of Walter Nold Mathis, a local figure instrumental in the revitalization of the historic King William neighborhood. Now maintained as a historic site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the museum keeps his residence, grounds, and extensive antiques on view to share Mathis’s preservation work and the living history of San Antonio.
