Description

Set in the Centennial Neighborhood at SE 167th and Market Street, the park took its current shape through improvements completed in spring 2020, following its 1993 transfer from Multnomah County to the City of Portland. Named in honor of local historian Verdell Burdine Rutherford, the space includes a Portland Loo and a renovated grass soccer field. The grounds also provide paved pathways alongside a picnic shelter.
