Description

Originally erected for the Pioneer Club, the multi-story sign was designed by Pat Denner and built by the Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO). It was paired with a recorded "Howdy, pardner!" greeting for visitors below. Today, the historic fixture remains an enduring presence watching over the Fremont Street Experience as one of the city's most photographed landmarks.
