Description
Set on land donated by Loyola University, the NeighborSpace site is stewarded by volunteer leaders from the Edgewater Environmental Coalition. The layout centers on natural communal plots alongside dedicated EEC Commons and Grow To Give Food Pantry beds, cultivating edible crops for volunteers, Loyola students, and Chicago Community Gardeners Association initiatives. Extra harvest is channeled into the weekly free food distribution organized through the Edgewater Mutual Aid Network.
