Around $5.00
A lakeside park with miles of shoreline for paddling, beginner windsurfing, and clear-day views of Mount Hood.
Description

Along the west shore of Vancouver Lake, 35 developed acres within the broader 190-acre grounds provide space for sand volleyball and picnicking, while quieter reaches act as a haven for migratory waterfowl and wildlife. The water routinely hosts rowing competitions throughout the year, though access is subject to nature: the lake is periodically closed because of cyanobacteria blooms, which pose hazards to humans and pets. When skies are clear, the sightlines expand well beyond the water to frame Mount St. Helens and Mount Adams.
