Description

Opened in May 1979 as Valerio’s City Bakery, the shop was built on the early-morning craft Jaime ‘Jimmy’ Valerio learned from his parents’ bakery in the Philippines. That heritage anchors the kitchen's work today, following traditional baking methods passed down by Jimmy and his wife Gloria. Beyond the baked goods, the bakery centers on the Filipino tradition of Bayanihan, keeping a multigenerational community space where families gather and share stories across decades.
