VALENTINE ARMBRUSTER — live performance at Le Contrescarpe

In her first ever stage performance, Valentine Armbruster populates the room with a gallery of characters ranging from everyday figures to Christmas movie archetypes. Between sketches, she examines the contemporary pressure of constant filters and the urge to please, leaning on self-deprecation and absurdity to question the role we play of ourselves. The material balances humor with tender observations about wanting a life worthy of an American film.
