Urania Berlin e. V.

Operating as an educational institute, the venue focuses on popularising contemporary social, scientific, and cultural knowledge through public programs. Beyond hosting major events like film festivals and conferences, the viewing layout features specific trade-offs: while screening rooms offer large screens, flat-leveled seating and a low display height mean sightlines and subtitles can be blocked by people sitting ahead, with bright exit lighting positioned directly beside the screen.
