UQ Geoffrey Rush Drama Studio

Tucked away at the University of Queensland, this small venue functions as a home for local talent and creative production. The experience is defined by its unconventional layout, where you step directly onto the stage floor before locating the seating area. Because the space is designed for versatile stage configurations, performances often bridge the gap between actor and viewer, sometimes even incorporating the seating area into the production itself to blur the line between the stage and the house.
