Description
Set within Lincoln Park between Lawrence and Wilson, west of DuSable Lake Shore Drive, the project began in 2022 to replace turf lawn with Illinois native grasses and shrubs. In a densely populated, highly urbanized corner of Uptown, the landscape actively absorbs and filters stormwater while doubling as a quiet setting valued for nature observation and scenic views.
