Parasail Up to 400 Feet Over Bradenton Beach, Dry or Dipped

Sea Rocket's shared boat leaves Bradenton Beach Marina, lifts you off the deck, and lets you ask for a dip on the way down.

Sea Rocket flies this parasail from Bradenton Beach Marina at 402 Church Avenue, just south of the Cortez Bridge on Anna Maria Island. The boat runs out through the Intracoastal Waterway to the Gulf, the captain gives a safety briefing on the way, and flyers take turns, alone, in pairs or three together. You lift off from the boat deck and land back on it, with no running and no jumping.

At checkout the supplier shows as Sea Rocket Ocean City (Downtown). Sea Rocket also operates in Ocean City, Maryland, but this booking departs from Bradenton Beach.

One seat covers one person on a shared boat, with the harness, life jacket and all parasail gear. Photo and video packages are sold on board, and gratuity is extra.

Up to 800 Feet of Line, Typically 400 Feet Up

The operator's FAQ says the winch lets out up to 800 feet of line and that flights typically reach 400 feet above sea level, which it calls its legal ceiling. It won't take requests to go higher.

Time in the air depends on which page you read. The listing and the FAQ give 10 to 12 minutes per flight, while the operator's own booking page says 8 to 10. Plan on about ten.

Coming down is your call. Stay dry for a deck landing, or ask the captain to lower you until your feet touch the water. Shoes come off before you board. The operator suggests swimwear, or shorts and a T-shirt you don't mind getting wet.

Anna Maria and Longboat Key From the Line

The operator names Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key and the Gulf as the view, and the listing adds the Skyway Bridge. Several reviewers report dolphins near the boat. Wildlife is never promised.

Five and Up, With a 100-Pound Floor for Solo Flyers

Everyone on the boat has to be at least 5, including anyone who only rides along to watch, and the operator says each of them needs a ticket. This listing has no separate observer ticket, so a watcher books a regular seat.

The operator's FAQ sets a 100-pound minimum for solo flyers, so a lighter child flies in a tandem or triple. The combined limit per flight is 450 pounds on the listing and 475 in the FAQ, and the captain can adjust it to the day's wind.

Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to authorize the waiver, according to the listing. The operator's parasailing page goes further: flyers 18 and under need a parent or guardian to take part.

The listing and the operator both advise against the trip during pregnancy, and the operator extends that to observers. The listing also advises against it for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Neither the operator's FAQ nor its booking notes say anything about wheelchair access, and the listing marks the trip as suitable for all fitness levels.

Wind Moves Flights, and Texts Can Arrive Late

The listing marks this trip as weather-dependent, and a weather cancellation gets you a new date or a full refund. Otherwise, cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund; inside 24 hours the listing pays nothing back. Those terms are the listing's: the operator's own website sells tickets as final sale with optional trip protection.

In September 2026 one reviewer was moved from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM by wind, and another group heard about a Coast Guard advisory cancellation by text after reaching the dock. Keep your phone on the morning of the flight.

Photo and video packages aren't part of the ticket. Gratuity isn't included either, and the operator says the crew takes tips in cash or by card.

📍 Check in at Bradenton Beach Marina, 402 Church Avenue. The listing asks you to arrive 25 to 30 minutes early and warns that traffic around Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island can be slow. Complete the online waiver before you arrive; the link comes with your confirmation.

Free parking runs along Church Avenue. The listing calls the marina's parking free as well, while the operator's FAQ mentions paid lots around the marina. Head toward the water and look for the red, white and blue boat, which the operator's check-in notes place next to the Nautilus Bar. If it isn't there, it's likely out on a trip and will be back shortly.

As of October 27, 2026, the booking calendar shows departures every day through December 31 at 10:00 AM, noon, 2:00 PM and on most days 4:00 PM, with an 8:00 AM flight on a few dates and nothing open yet for 2027. On this listing the 8:00 AM seat is the cheapest of the day and the afternoon flights cost the most.

The listing puts Bridge Street's restaurants within walking distance of the marina, for after you land.
