Universal's Las Vegas Haunted Houses Keep Going Long After Halloween
Four Universal-built haunted houses, roaming characters, a dark comedy show and themed bars inside an AREA15 warehouse.
Universal Horror Unleashed is the year-round haunt Universal runs in a warehouse on AREA15's Zone 2 side, the part of the district AREA15 calls The Terminals. Four haunted houses share one roof: Universal Monsters, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scarecrow: The Reaping and Blumhouse's The Exorcist: Believer. Between them is a common area with roaming characters, a live dark comedy show, bars and a sit-down restaurant.
This booking is general admission with one walk-through of each of the four houses. One line in the listing's terms mentions unlimited access, but its inclusions list one-time access per house, so plan on one pass each. Universal's own guide says to budget two to six hours for the whole venue.

The ticket covers one named person aged 13 or older on one date. Entry opens at 4 PM, last entry is two hours before closing, and arriving after your booked time does not guarantee admission. All sales are final, the venue runs rain or shine, and there is no re-entry. Food and drinks are paid for inside, and the venue is cashless.
Universal Horror Unleashed at AREA15 in Las VegasGeneral admission to the common areas and one entry into each of the four haunted houses, ages 13 and up. Non-refundable.www.viator.comBetween the Houses: Jack, Chance and the Vampire Queen

Outside the houses, the ticket covers the common area and its live entertainment. Universal lists the Vampire Queen, who talks with guests while aerialists swing and leap from platforms overhead; Jack & Chance: Stay or Slay, a dark comedy show hosted by Universal's own characters Jack the Clown and Chance that repeats through the night; and the Slasher Zone, a dark stretch of cages where a slasher paces behind the bars.
Food and drinks cost extra. Premiere House is the full-service restaurant, Roughcuts is the quick-service counter for smoked meats and sandwiches, and The Boiler and Jack's Alley are the bars. Alcohol is 21 and over with photo ID, and one visitor from the UK wrote in October 2025 that the bars would not take a UK driving licence as that ID.
Getting There: Zone 2, Its Garage and the District Tram

The listing puts the venue at 3051 S Rancho Drive, in its own warehouse in AREA15's Zone 2 rather than in AREA15's main building. Drivers use the Zone 2 parking garage, where visitor parking is on levels 1 to 4. Parking is not in the ticket price: Universal says it is currently free for Nevada residents, and AREA15 says everyone else pays a nominal fee it does not put a number on.
Universal encourages rideshare. In Zone 2, pick-up and drop-off are on the ground floor of the garage at Meade and Rigel, and AREA15's district tram runs about every 10 minutes between that garage floor and Zone 1's west entry doors. The listing includes no hotel pickup.
Inside the Four Houses
Universal describes them this way. Universal Monsters follows the monster hunter Van Helsing. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre takes you through a rotting farmhouse. Scarecrow: The Reaping winds through a cursed harvest with twisted scarecrows in the shadows. Blumhouse's The Exorcist: Believer follows two girls slowly overtaken by an ancient evil.
Three visitors writing between November 2025 and January 2026 said each house lets in small groups in turn rather than one continuous line, and two of them preferred that to the lines at Universal's park Halloween events. One visitor who arrived at the 4 PM opening in April 2026 found that some houses did not open until 6 PM.
Thirteen and Up, a Photo ID and No Masks
The listing sells tickets only for ages 13 and up, and Universal does not recommend the experience for younger children. AREA15 requires anyone under 18 to stay with an adult for the whole visit. Each ticket is valid only for the person named on it, with a valid photo ID.
Costumes must follow Universal's costume policy: nothing that covers the face, including masks, and face paint on less than half the face. Scare actors do not intentionally touch guests, and guests are expected not to touch them. Flash photography and video lights are not allowed.
Universal says the venue is fully ADA accessible, with houses and queues that take wheelchairs and standard-size ECVs without a transfer. The houses use strobe lights, synthetic fog and loud sound, and the listing does not recommend the experience for travelers with poor cardiovascular health.
As of October 20, 2026, the booking calendar ran to January 3, 2027 and opened only some nights each week, with the pattern changing week to week: Wednesday through Sunday up to Halloween weekend, then mostly Thursday through Sunday in November. Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and that night was listed at about twice the price of a Thursday in mid-November.
Since there is no re-entry, arrive with the photo ID that matches your ticket, catch a show between houses, and spend each house's one pass when you are ready to be scared.
