Unity Park
4.8 (10)park
Sunday through Saturday 7:00 am to Sunset
A downtown park pairing native wetlands and a boardwalk with a memorial honoring victims of the 1920 Ocoee Massacre.
Description

The park’s memorial wall lists the names of the 263 Black residents killed, injured, driven from their homes, or stripped of property on November 2, 1920. Across the five-acre site, the grounds feature 100 percent Florida-native landscaping, with dozens of trees—including slash pine, Florida red maple, sweetgum, southern live oak, and bald cypress—adapted to thrive without heavy watering. A lighted quarter-mile boardwalk circles the wetland basin and connects to Ocoee’s master trail plan.
