Campus Grounds and Hotel Bar
A Historic Campus Pause
Established in 1754, Columbia University gives an unhurried walk through Upper Manhattan, with Butler Library and the Low steps setting the route. Free public entry makes the grounds an easy first stop. The Core Curriculum shapes the university’s intellectual identity. Students can attend lectures outside their enrolled courses within an open academic environment. Take in the classical architecture, then slow down around the walking paths and gathering places before moving to the next stop.

A Measured Route on Fifth
Conservatory Garden occupies 1233 5th Ave beside Central Park, with formal planting arranged for an unhurried wander. Three distinct areas give the visit a clear sequence, from clipped hedges and lawns to fountain-centered views and paved paths. The public gates open every day at 8:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM. An open wrought-iron gate frames the garden, with the paths leading toward the next Midtown stop.

A Flexible Times Square Finish
Cue 48 occupies the Hyatt Regency at 1605 Broadway. The interior combines dining tables, booths, and a lounge. Its small bar menu includes pasta and a highly praised Caesar salad, with custom cocktails available alongside friendly, accommodating service. Take the escalators up to reach the restaurant and bar. Breakfast and coffee are available from 6:30 AM each day. Friday and Saturday hours continue to 1:00 AM, while Sunday through Thursday service ends at 12:00 AM.
