Under the 'K' Bridge Park

Designed by landscape architecture firm PUBLIC WORK along Newtown Creek, the site turns former industrial land into public space operated by the North Brooklyn Parks Alliance and New York State. Beneath the massive steel structure, daily recreation sits alongside native plant cultivation and community volunteer work. During events, the space functions as a live venue valued for clear stage sightlines and strong acoustics, though rain still reaches the audience under the bridge span when weather turns.
