UMD Memorial Chapel

The space offers two distinct ceremonial settings on the University of Maryland campus. For large gatherings, the Main Chapel provides two-level seating for up to 1,000 guests beneath its classical architectural lines, while the smaller Garden Chapel presents a quieter alternative fitted with warm wooden pews and a baby grand piano. Ceremonies and campus events here are not limited to students or alumni; the venue is open to anyone regardless of university affiliation or background, hosting more than 100 weddings each year.
