Established in 2023, the gallery realizes a long-held ambition of founder Sawako Takemura Chang, drawing on more than twenty years of work as an art curator, educator, and Ph.D. in Japanese art history. Her focus centers on introducing Japan's long-lasting traditions and artisanship with novel contemporary twists, bringing contemporary art alongside handcrafted work.
