Set beside the tracks at the DART Tyler/Vernon stop, the former Dixie Wax Paper Company site unfolds as a layered, boardwalk-style labyrinth of ground-floor corridors and subterranean spaces. Rather than a conventional retail strip, the sprawling compound acts as an incubator for independent makers, housing pottery classes, clothing racks, craft supplies, a massive bike shop, and a microcinema. Food trucks, indoor taco vendors, and open-air industrial event spaces fill out the corners, leaving plenty of room to wander.
