Two or Five Dallas Restaurants, With JFK History Between Bites

A guided food and history tour of Dallas that starts in front of the JFK Memorial on Main Street. Choose two hours and two restaurants, or four hours and five, with photo stops at the memorial and at the bronze cattle drive in Pioneer Plaza.

This tour keeps eating and sightseeing on the same ride. A local guide collects the group in front of the John F. Kennedy Memorial at 646 Main Street, then drives between restaurants and two downtown landmarks, telling the city's story along the way. You pick the length: two hours with two restaurants, or four hours with five.

A shared tour takes at most 13 people. The operator, Fun Texas Tours, runs its JFK assassination tours from the same corner.

As of November 4, 2026, the two-hour tour had 10:30 am starts open on almost every day through early February 2027. The 2 pm starts, which include the four-hour tour, showed open dates only through December 2026, and no Friday dates were open for the four-hour tour.

The Listing Doesn't Name the Restaurants

The listing does not name the restaurants. Its photo set runs from barbecue pits and a Pecan Lodge storefront to the Twisted Trompo taco counter and a cake case. Recent travelers fill in the menu. In September 2026 one singled out the brisket at Terry Black's, and in March 2026 a solo guest listed cookies, steak, smokehouse barbecue, tacos and dessert.

Another September 2026 traveler called the servings generous. If you have a dietary restriction, call the operator at 214-728-8528 before you book, since the listing does not say what each stop serves.

Two Hours or Four, and What Each Costs

The two-hour tour visits two restaurants and costs $99.99 for adults, $94.99 for children aged 2 to 15 and $40.99 for infants. The four-hour tour visits five restaurants for $129.99, $124.99 and $45.99.

The guide is the only inclusion the listing names; tips are extra, and so is parking if you drive to the start.

The History Stops: JFK Memorial and the Bronze Cattle Drive

Between meals, the itinerary lists two 10-minute photo stops. The first is the John F. Kennedy Memorial in the West End Historic District, where the tour also begins. The second is Pioneer Plaza, where 49 bronze steers and three trail riders make up what the listing calls one of the largest bronze collections in the world. Travelers credit the guides, Isaac and Orlando among them, for the stories between stops.

The listing describes a climate-controlled van, but the pickup note says to look for a blue golf cart. A traveler in March 2026 rode in an open-air electric vehicle, so dress for the weather.

Kids, Wheelchairs, Weather and Refunds

Children are welcome. Texas law requires a car seat or booster for kids under 8 unless they are taller than 4 ft 9 in. The vehicles are not wheelchair accessible, and the operator asks guests who use a wheelchair or need other arrangements to call 214-728-8528 in advance.

You can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before the start; after that there is no refund. The operator can call off a tour for bad weather or too few bookings, and one traveler's November 2025 tour was cancelled for low numbers. Bookings close two hours before the start and are confirmed instantly.
