🎬 Ten Scenes Cut From Ice
Forty carvers from Harbin, the Chinese city known for its ice festival, cut 6,700 blocks into a 19,000 square foot walk-through. This year the rooms follow Home Alone, with Kevin's house, the booby traps and the Wet Bandits carved into the ice. Ten scenes are joined by tunnels, and the whole set is kept at nine degrees so nothing softens before the season ends on January 2. You walk it on your own with no guide and no set pace, with most visitors spending 20 to 40 minutes inside.
🛷 Slides, Tunnels, Photo Spots
The route passes the scenes and opens onto two-story slides about ten feet tall. There are slides built for smaller guests and for adults, and everyone has to climb the stairs on their own. Closed-toe shoes are required on the slide, and each guest gets a calf-length blue parka at the entrance. Note that these internal ice slides are included with admission, distinct from the resort's outdoor snow tubing hill which requires a separate ticket. Personal photos and video are fine. Tripods and lights are not.
🎟️ Pay Less, Arrive Early Enough
Tickets must be purchased online in advance, starting from $33.38 for adults; prices vary by date, time slot, and age tier. Arrive five minutes before your slot, since late entry is not guaranteed. Anyone under 18 needs a paid adult, and a ticket does not let you back in. Children 3 and under get in free with a paid adult. Self-parking is $37 a day plus tax and valet is $55 plus tax, though parking rates and policies are subject to change. The resort is cashless throughout.
