Description
Owner Julio Ortiz has operated the business since 2009, having arrived in the States from Havana at age 24 to work in restaurants. When the Cuban sandwich emerged as the runaway favorite at his original cafe, encouragement from regular guests prompted him to expand the space into a full-service restaurant and bar. The wider menu centers on authentic Cuban dishes, drawing directly from recipes passed down by Ortiz's mother, Maria Del Carmen.
