🎟️ One show, one print

🎬 A print, not a file

Twilight plays from a physical 35mm print one time only, Friday, October 30 at 11 p.m., the last Friday slot of a Halloween weekend with four Friday films, three on 35mm. The site lists no end time, and the 122 minute feature puts the credits after 1 a.m. Inside, 118 Art Deco seats sit under red velvet and marquee bulbs.

🍸 Before the film, after it

Roxy Bar, upstairs in the hotel, runs until 2 a.m. on Friday with live sets early and a DJ after 10 p.m., which suits a drink before the 11 p.m. start or a nightcap after. The Django, in the same cellar, fits the hours before the film, with Friday sets at 7:30 and 9:15 p.m., a 40 dollar per-person cover and a two-drink minimum.

🚪 Tickets and trains

General admission is 19 dollars plus taxes and fees, tickets are non-refundable, and the cinema suggests booking online in advance. It sits in the Roxy Hotel cellar at 2 Avenue of the Americas. The A, C and E are about two minutes on foot, the N, Q, R and W around six, the J and Z eight, and the 1 about three at Franklin Street. Trains still run after 1 a.m., though weekend service changes can stretch the ride.
