Twenty-Six Cideries Take Over Red Hook for One Saturday

Twenty-six New York cideries pour inside one converted Red Hook warehouse, with the harbor and the Statue of Liberty minutes from the last glass.

Sip first, then walk to the sunset.

🍎 One Saturday of Cider

🍏 What Pours

In the festival's third year, 26 participating cideries pour across the floor (with the final roster subject to latest updates), from recognizable names like Angry Orchard to small orchard operations like Eve's Cidery. Producers sample and sell bottles, so bring a tote if you plan to shop. Live music and local food vendors round out the afternoon, and drinkers vote on a People's Choice Award. The venue is The Red Hook Cidery at the Red Hook Barrel Yards campus, occupying a converted waterfront warehouse with outdoor space facing New York Harbor.

🎟️ Tickets, Timing, Getting There

Every guest must be 21+ and show a valid physical ID at the door; tickets run on a will-call list with refunds closing seven days out. VIP early entry opens at 11 a.m. ($60.54 with fees), general admission enters at noon ($44.52), and the tasting floor closes at 4 p.m. Guided food-and-cider pairings require a separate $39.19 add-on ticket and are limited to 40 guests per session (12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.) with a chef, cider maker, and certified pommelier. Red Hook has no subway service: take the NYC Ferry to Red Hook/Atlantic Basin or the B61 bus along Van Brunt Street.

🌅 After the Last Pour

The festival ends at 4:00 p.m., while sunset on November 14 falls around 4:39 p.m. Louis Valentino, Jr. Park and Pier is a five-minute stroll (about 320 m southwest) with views looking northwest across the harbor toward the Statue of Liberty. That leaves roughly 39 minutes to walk over and catch dusk: plan ahead to claim a railing spot, or head straight to dinner along Van Brunt Street if coastal clouds roll in.
