Tucker Recreation Center
4.4 (234)attraction
A 1954 school turned community hub, pairing arts classes with an 1860s courthouse and a butterfly garden.
Description

A neighborhood fixture for over three decades, the recreation center turns its former classrooms over to pottery, dance, yoga, card games, and an art studio. In addition to sports and community events, the facility hosts the Tucker Parks & Rec Summer Camp and provides space for private gatherings. Out on the front lawn, the 1860s Browning Courthouse stands directly beside a butterfly garden created and maintained by DeKalb Master Gardeners.
