Trousdale Place

4.7 (20)museum

A Federal-style brick museum in downtown Gallatin traces over 70 years of an influential 19th-century Tennessee family.

Description

Beyond its time as the home of William Trousdale and his family, the property took on several different roles in the community after 1900. The museum details how family members and descendants made their mark well outside Gallatin, going on to serve in the military, practice law and business, travel abroad, and even minister to Brazil.
